SECOL 2027 - Call for papers
Southeastern Conference on Linguistics (SECOL) 2027 - Tampa, FL -
Dates: April 1st - 3rd, 2027
(Thursday - Saturday)
Topics: The 2027 SECOL Conference is open to all fields and topics in applied and theoretical linguistics.
Proposal types
Conference sessions: 30-minutes
Conference panels: 60-minute total time.
Pedagogy workshops: 30 minutes or 60 minutes
Proposal Deadlines
Round l: Regular submission Due November 1st - decision: November 14th
Round 2: LAST DEADLINE BEFORE PRICE INCREASE Due December 1st.
Round 3: Final round - Due January 6th - decision: January 11th
Extended round: Send them and we will review! If you miss the deadline, reach out to us and if there is space available, we will expedite your review.

If your research includes Spanish, Latinos, and Bilingualism in the U.S. South and you would like to be considered for the SEC Spanish Consortium special session please include that at the top of your abstract.
